Minot Baptist schedules Vacation Bible School

Minot Baptist Church will conduct its Vacation Bible School from Monday through Friday, June 24-28. The theme is “The Great Jungle Journey — An Epic Cruise from Genesis to Revelation” from Answers In Genesis. Children will explore the Bible, God’s Word, and have fun with a riverboat cruise through the Scriptures. The sessions will include music, crafts, games, Bible and missionary stories and snacks. VBS will run from 6-8:30 p.m. each evening at the church at 500 46th Ave. NE. Registration is for children ages 4 through 12 years old.

Church to launch fund drive for expansion, food pantry

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Minot has announced plans for a capital fund drive to support building expansions and a new food pantry. The church reported it has set a minimum goal of $3 million for its “Vibrant Vision” Campaign, which along with the $ 2 million already set aside, would allow for ground breaking and completion of phase one of its plan.
