State Parks closures and COVID-19

The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department has closed all state parks and recreation buildings to the public. This includes, but is not limited to, all overnight facilities, museums, visitor and interpretative centers, marinas and comfort stations. The department is also postponing or canceling all interpretive and special events. The campgrounds will also be closed until further notice. Any persons with a reservation that will be affected by this closure will be contacted by department staff and provided the option to move or cancel their reservation.

Day-use facilities at the state parks, including trails and boat ramps, will remain open to the public until further notice. Recreation and natural areas continue to remain open for day-use.
