BeMobile to give away school supplies

BeMobile Verizon is celebrating its 10th year of giving away free backpacks with school supplies to local children. This year will mark its one-millionth dollar of support in supplies to local communities. The event will be held at all 68 BeMobile Verizon locations, including Minot, from Aug. 1-4, during normal business hours. No pre-registration is required, and backpacks will be handed out as first come first served until gone. Minot Farmers Union Insurance agent named top producer

North Dakota Farmers Union Insurance, based in Jamestown, announced that Shaun Sipma of Minot was the top producer of life insurance sales for the company for April. Emily Schock, Loan Origination Team lead at First International Bank & Trust, recently graduated from the Dakota School of Banking sponsored by the North Dakota Bankers Association and endorsed by the South Dakota Bankers Association.
