Bremer Bank breaks ground on new branch in Minot

Bremer Bank broke ground on Wednesday for its new, full-service branch location in Minot, according to information provided by Bremer.

The new branch will be located at the northwest corner of 16th Street SW and 37th Avenue SW. It will be a 7,500 square foot building. It is under construction by local contractor Craft Builders, Inc., and is expected to be open to the public by late summer 2021.

This new branch will replace the two Bremer locations currently operating in Minot – one based a mile away from the new location in Dakota Square and the second in the city’s downtown. Following the new branch’s opening, Bremer will maintain a drive-thru only presence at the downtown location.

Designed to help streamline and personalize each customer’s banking experience, the new Bremer branch will include a “Partner Table” instead of a traditional bank teller line for improved service and to foster stronger customer-banker business relationships. The building will also feature warm interior color schemes and materials, wood ceiling panels, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and other aesthetics that capture Minot’s history and scenery.

“Bremer Bank has proudly called the Minot community home for more than 80 years,” said Wes Black, Bremer’s Minot market manager. “We’re eager to get going on construction for this new, state-of-the-art branch, and are excited to continue providing quality financial and banking services to our customers. We look forward to serving the Minot community for many more decades to come.”
