Northwest Festival of Music returns to MSU

Minot State University Department of Fine and Performing Arts will host more than 600 regional high school music students during the 46th annual Northwest Festival of Music Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1-2. The Northwest Festival of Music utilizes multiple rooms and stages on the MSU campus, including performances at Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. Rehearsals begin for ‘Messiah’ performance

Singers in Minot and area communities who would like to take part in the chorus for the 2024 performance of Handel’s “Messiah” can join the first rehearsal Monday, Nov. 4, in Room 121 in Old Main at Minot State University. According to Dr. Emerson Eads, other rehearsals are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 11, and Monday, Nov. 25. The concert will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8, in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at MSU.
