Stanley arts center to host folk music concert
STANLEY – Chuck Suchy will bring his folk music to the Sibyl Center in Stanley Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m.
Known by many as North Dakota’s Troubadour, Suchy hails from south of Mandan, where he farms the hills along the Missouri River. In recent years, in addition to his concerts, Suchy visits groups around the state to raise awareness of the importance of arts programs.
Considered one of the most notable of living Great Plains musicians in the folk genre, Suchy’s original compositions are genuine and rich with rural roots.
Joining Chuck Such will be Ben Suchy and together they will perform ballads, folk tunes and Americana music, interspersed with authentic stories.
Due to a generous sponsorship, admission is free.
