Minot State to host eclipse viewing party
Minot State’s Division of Science will host a partial solar eclipse viewing party, weather permitting, in front of Swain Hall starting around 1 p.m. on Monday, April 8.
Professors Nigel George (physics and astronomy) and Kati Kilroy (geosciences) will be passing out solar glasses and showing students and the public how to use different items, including pinhole models, to view the eclipse.
The program will run until 3 p.m. when the partial eclipse ends.
