The Voices of Note annual Christmas Concert, “A Christmas Concert,” is to be held on Dec. 12, at Vincent Methodist Church, 1024 2nd St. SE, at 7 p.m.

The free program will include coffee, cider and will cookies following the performance.

“We love to sing and share music with the community during the Christmas season and throughout the year,” said Nadine Holmly, chorus director.

“Our annual Christmas concert has become one of our favorite concerts. We enjoy singing the standard Christmas pieces along with new arrangements of the classic songs. We don’t collect a free-will offering at the Christmas concert as this is our ‘gift’ to the community for their continued support of our longstanding chorus. Of course, the cookie reception after the concert is a big hit with the audience. Our emcee, Kay Eaton, jokingly says, ‘We’ll have a million cookies to eat!’ Any leftovers are donated to local soup kitchens,” said Holmly.

Some of the holiday classics the Voices of Note will be singing this season are “What Child,” “O Holy Night” and “See Amid the Winters Snow.”

Voices of Note has been performing since 1989.

Starting at $2.99/week.
