Wreaths Across America ceremony canceled; wreaths will be placed

The ceremony portion of this year’s seventh annual Wreaths Across America program in Minot has been canceled but volunteers will be placing wreaths at the graves of veterans.

Volunteers must attend the Volunteers Orientation on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. at the Ward County Administration Building, room 105. There will be a limited number of 70 passes given to those who attend. These passes must be presented on the day wreaths are being laid. More information will be provided at the orientation.

For those who wish to view the video on the laying of the wreaths they will be able to do so sometime in the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 19. Go to the following link for viewing: https://m.facebook.com/Memory-Savers-Video-116666719716673/ or search on facebook for Memory Savers Video.

The majority of the wreaths are placed at the graves of veterans in Rosehill Memorial Park in Minot.
