Creative Night Out in Downtown MInot

Creative Night Out is happening tonight in downtown Minot, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Several different art forms will be displayed at downtown businesses, along with music, snacks, sale specials and artist demonstrations.

Wendy Weiss Voeller will be at Artmain, doing art demos alongside the Public Chalk Art Van. Outdoor and indoor sales are going to be available, but masks are required to shop inside.

Magic City Fire and Flow Arts is the featured street performer group for tonight. In acts of fire staves, fire poi, rope darts and blowing fireballs, the members plan to display their skill. For those who are curious about what fire play is, a press release mentioned checking the group’s Facebook page.

The Artspace Suite 1 Gallery still has the “Peace Garden Exhibition” on display and it’s open to the public to view. The gallery is also hosting Linda Olson, who will be demonstrating block printing, and Nancy Walter, displaying her jewelry From Nancy’s Fancy Jewelry.

Other “hot spots” for the event are Taube Museum of Art, Budget Music & Video, Gourmet Chef, Oliver’s Attic, Mainstreet Books, Atypical Brewery & Barrelworks and Hitchin’ Kitchen. The Mouse River VW Club and North Dakota Air Cooled are also going to be present, having some of their vintage and modern Volkswagens on display.
