Minot State presenting 99th Annual Messiah Dec. 8

The Minot State University Division of Music will present the 99th Annual Messiah Dec. 8. The production is set for 4 p.m., open to the public and free of charge. A freewill offering will support the Dr. Joseph M. and Jackie Hegstad Scholarship and the John and Patricia Strohm Music Scholarship funds, both of which assist voice students at MSU.

The performance will feature The Heritage Singers, The Minot Chamber Chorale, Voices of Note, The Minot State University Concert Choir, along with MSU faculty, and members of the Minot Symphony Orchestra. Soloists will include MSU students and members of the community.

If members of the community are interested in being a singer in the choir, they can join rehearsals in room 121 at Old Main on MSU’s campus. Scores will be supplied to all volunteer singers. The rehearsals will be held Nov. 24 and Dec. 1 from 3-4 p.m.
