Surrey Special Election

Canvassing Meeting

December 23, 2019-7:00 pm

Board Members: Hoffarth, Trana,

Dalby, Dickinson, Coca. Trana

called the meeting to order with roll

call taken. Oaths of Office were

sworn for the appointment of all

members of the Surrey Special

Election Canvassing Board. Trana

stated that all ballots were collected

from the office of the Ward County

Auditor the day following the elec-

tion. Certification was provided that

181 manual ballots were cast with

the unofficial tally results confirmed

as follows notating that no absentee

ballots or set aside write-ins were

taken on the day of the election:

Mayor: Charles Tolefson 143 votes

Scattered write-ins 33 votes

Ward 1 Council member

Karla Walsh 37 votes

Jennifer Johns 60 votes

Scattered write-ins 6 votes

Dalby moved to approve the Special

Election counts certified by Ward

County . Motion 2nd by Mr. Dickin-

son. Roll Call vote: All Ayes. Mo-
