Girls Soccer: Mandan wins state title rematch, snaps Majettes’ unbeaten regular season streak

It’s been nearly five years since the Minot High girls soccer team was on the wrong side of the scoreboard during a regular-season match. That streak ended on Saturday, April 11, as Mandan won the battle of last year’s state title match with a 1-0 victory over the Majettes at Starion Sports Complex in Bismarck. Minot North’s Cameron Jesz picked up a victory in the high jump and was the final leg of the winning 4x200 relay team, while Minot High’s James Pallotta and Blake Anderson both won two events while competing in the Minot Invite on Friday, April 10, at Duane Carlson Stadium.
