No team thus far this season has been able to slow down the Dickinson softball team’s offense. Add Minot High to that list, as the Mavericks put up 33 combined runs on 31 hits in a sweep of the Majettes on Saturday, April 11, at Dickinson Sanford Sports Complex. Dickinson scored 13 runs in the first inning in Game 1, winning 21-7 and put up eight runs in the second inning of Game 2, completing the sweep with an 11-1 victory. Both games went five innings. The Minot High boys golf team accomplished something in the first week of the season that it wasn’t able to do all of last season: win a tournament. The Magicians shot a team score of 306 and captured the Century-Legacy Invite title at Tom O’Leary Golf Course on Saturday, April 11, in the first tournament of the season.
