Christ Lutheran to hold Spring Bouquet on April 27

Christ Lutheran Church Women will hold their annual Spring Bouquet on Saturday, April 27. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 502 17th St. NW. There will be a silent auction, bake sale, craft sale, plants, and grandma’s attic. A luncheon of oriental salad, bread, dessert bar, and beverage will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $10.

Minot man who visited Notre Dame Cathedral ‘shocked’ by news of fire

“I was shocked,” said Mike Pellenwessel of Minot when he learned on Monday that Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was burning. Fire broke out at the landmark cathedral in Paris on Monday. Pellenwessel and his son David Pellenwessel, then a student at Minot High School, were among a group from Minot who visited the cathedral during an art history tour for students to Paris and other cities in Europe in 2015. Easter event on April 20 at First Baptist

A free children’s Easter event will be held at First Baptist Church on Saturday, April 20 from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Children ages 3 years old to fourth-graders are invited to an Easter Eggspedition where they will discover what is in the giant Golden Easter Egg. The kids will sing some fun Veggie Tales songs, hear the Easter story as they explore what makes the golden egg so special, and get a goodie bag. Living Stations of the Cross to be performed Sunday at Our Lady of Grace

Students and adults from the Minot area will perform the Living Stations of the Cross on Sunday, April 7, at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 707 16th Avenue SW, Minot. This is a moving enactment of the passion and death of Jesus, performed with students acting out a still scene for each of the 14 Stations of the Cross, while the story is told through songs and narration.
