Mother’s Day: A tribute to my mother

I am writing a tribute for my mother on this Mother’s Day because she is with Jesus in heaven. Before she passed, she helped me get back on my feet after a car hit me. I am doing OK now. I have my independence. I am able to take care of myself. My mother was a strong believer in church. I go regularly. My mother was kind, gentle – she loved animals. Minot Parks to close pool, skate park for summer

Out of an abundance of caution, the Minot Park Board made the decision at a special board meeting Monday at Roosevelt Park to close the Roosevelt Park Pool and skate park for the 2025 summer season, the Minot Park District has announced.
