Every December, Slumberland Furniture has its biggest bedding event of the year without selling a single mattress or box spring. Throughout the month, Slumberland Furniture as a company will donate about 2,000 mattress and box spring sets to nonprofit partners throughout the communities it serves. Inflation rate blasts toward 10% The Producer Price Index (PPI), released by the Labor Department Tuesday, rose at the highest level ever recorded. Higher costs for food and energy at the wholesale level led the way.
