Bank donates to skating program

CROSBY — The Bank of Tioga’s participation in a recent Skate Night included a $2,000 donation to Crosby Blue Line Club to purchase skate trainers for the annual Learn to Skate program. Crosby Blue Line Club’s annual Learn to Skate Program runs typically over four Wednesdays every February. The program started for anyone who has an interest in learning how to skate, no matter a person’s age. CENTURY 21 gives awards for quality service, sales

Century 21 Real Estate LLC recently recognized local sales affiliates with the CENTURY 21 Quality Service Pinnacle Producer Award. The annual award is based on results from the CENTURY 21 Quality Service Survey, which is e-mailed to consumers immediately after the purchase or sale of a home. To earn the CENTURY 21 Quality Service Pinnacle Producer Award, an agent must receive completed customer surveys for at least 80% of their transactions surveyed from Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, with an average survey score of at least 95% or better for two consecutive years. EPIC Events adds to Høstfest staff

EPIC Events has added Alexis Meyer as Norsk Høstfest coordinator and Nicki Fix as Norsk Høstfest Operations. Meyer received her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in tourism development and management with certificates in special event management and convention sales and meeting planning. The Høstfest board of directors recently hired Minot- and West Fargo-based EPIC Events to handle entertainment, sponsorships, design and logistical arrangements for the return of the event in September 2022.

First Western Bank & Trust has announced its recent promotions. Amy Makeef has been promoted to chief credit officer. She is a native of Ryder and graduated from North Shore High School. Lignite Energy Council names vice president

Mike Holmes was named executive vice president of research & development for the Lignite Energy Council and retains his role as technical advisor of the Lignite Research Program under the North Dakota Industrial Commission. Holmes joined the Lignite Council in 2017 following more than 15 years with the Energy & Environmental Research Center in Grand Forks.
