Bank donates to skating program

CROSBY — The Bank of Tioga’s participation in a recent Skate Night included a $2,000 donation to Crosby Blue Line Club to purchase skate trainers for the annual Learn to Skate program.

Crosby Blue Line Club’s annual Learn to Skate Program runs typically over four Wednesdays every February. The program started for anyone who has an interest in learning how to skate, no matter a person’s age. The skate trainers are used during the Learn to Skate program as well as available to use during open skating hours throughout the week.

“The skate trainers provided to the Crosby Blue Line Club from the Bank of Tioga helps our Learn to Skate program significantly. The skate trainers assist children and adults with their balance and confidence and helps them feel safe when learning to skate,” said Tonia Eriksmoen, Crosby Blue Line Club board member.
