Party in the Park set for Garrison Saturday

nnual Party in the Park will be held in Garrison on Saturday. The second annual Sakakawea Classic Car Show will be held on Main Street in the afternoon. The annual Aw Shucks! Corn Fest will be held from 2-6 p.m. in the Garrison City Park.The event includes a watermelon eating contest, corn shucking contest, corn on the cob and other food. From 5-11 p.m., Nerve Impulse and The Bromantics bands will perform. People are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

A few weeks ago I ran into a couple with their son as they were finishing up their visit to the zoo. They stopped and asked if I knew the name of the bison calf.
