Norsk Hostfest has announced a Meet the Chefs event will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Marketplace Foods at 1930 S. Broadway. The event is free and open to the public. Hostfest is slated for Sept. 24-27. This preview event will offer a sample of the foods the Nordic Kitchen will be serving during the festival. Chefs Patrice Johnson, Stig Hansen and Teena Anderson will be preparing sample dishes, and the public will have opportunities to chat with the chefs, pick up cooking tips and enjoy the lively atmosphere, complete with live music and dancing.
WASHBURN. – A Twilight Hike will be held at Fort Mandan State Historic Site in Washburn on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 7:30-8:30 p.m., according to the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
