Todd Joseph Boguslawski

June 27, 1965-August 25, 2018

Todd Joseph Bo-

guslawski, 53, Minot,

formerly of Dunseith,

passed away on Saturday,

August 25, 2018 at a

Minot area hospital.

Todd was born on June

27, 1965, in Rugby, North

Dakota to Joseph and June

(Boppre) Boguslawski. He

was raised in the Dun-

seith area and graduated

from Bottineau High

School in 1983. While in

high school, Todd worked

on both the family farm

and at Dale’s Truck Stop.

After graduation, he brief-

ly moved to Kansas for a

summer job before return-ing to North Dakota. In

August of 1984 Todd be-

gan his career with Strata

Corporation, where he

would be employed for

over 30 years. Todd

moved to Minot in 1990.

While always helping on

the family farm, Todd

took on a more active role

in the farm after his father

passed away.

Todd loved the out-

doors and cherished

spending time with his

many friends. Many pre-

cious memories were

created during hunting

and fishing trips, or riding

on his Harley in the sum-

mertime. In winter, he en-

joyed taking trips to Ar-

izona or Las Vegas.

Family and friends will

long remember Todd as

someone who was never

afraid to voice his opin-

ion. He liked to have

things done his way and

he made sure that you

knew it. But Todd also

had a big heart and would

do anything for anyone

without a moment’s hesi-

tation. He was once mar-

ried to Shantha Kean.

Todd also loved to

watch NASCAR, football,

and cooking. Large cook-

ing projects were his

favorite, such as whole

hogs and racks of ribs. He

always cooked Christmas

dinner because he wanted

to make sure that it was

done correctly. Todd will

be greatly missed by all

who knew him.

Todd is survived by his

sisters: Kim Boguslawski

and Kay (Tim) Jacobson;

nephew Taylor (Kayla

Reierson) Parisien; grand-

mother Eloise Boppre;

numerous aunts, uncles,

and cousin; and his many

friends.

He was preceded in

death by his parents;

grandparents Joseph

(Charlotte) Boguslawski

and Donald Boppre; god-

son Troy James Coleman;

and several uncles and

cousins.
