Ronald Dean Drager, 61, and Dawn Marie Matthews, 51, both of Sawyer, are charged with growing marijuana, a Class B felony, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, in district court in Minot. In addition, Drager is charged with simple assault – domestic violence, a Class B misdemeanor.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, police found three marijuana plants at the residence when they responded to a domestic altercation on Saturday. They also found rolling papers and marijuana seed.

Drager allegedly struck a woman at the residence.
