Rachael Marie Patnaude, 28, Minot, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, all suspended but the 11 days she already served, for driving under the influence while accompanied by a minor child and striking an unattended vehicle on Oct 17, 2017.
Patnaude pleaded guilty last week to the two Class A misdemeanors in district court in Minot.
She was also ordered to serve 18 months supervised probation, to participate in the 24/7 Sobriety Program, to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation, to attend a victim impact panel, and to pay $2,125 in court costs for the DUI. For striking the unattended vehicle, she was ordered to pay $1,282 in restitution.
The sentences are concurrent.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Patnaude had 10 alcoholic drinks at The Spot, got into an argument with a man there and struck the man's unoccupied vehicle and then left the area. She picked up her baby daughter and drove to her mother's house while she was intoxicated. She was tested on site and had a .146 breath alcohol content.
