The city of Minot experienced record-breaking temperatures Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, Minot reached 102 degrees as of 3:54 p.m. This beat the previous record of 101 degrees for that date set in 1969.
Last year on Aug. 11, the temperature was 82 degrees.
Today is expected to be another record-breaking day. According to the NWS, temperatures could get as high as 103 degrees, beating the 1897 record of 101 degrees.
