Blue Angels, Thunderbirds coming to ND this summer

Aviation enthusiasts will have the opportunity this summer to see two top-notch military aerial demonstration teams perform in North Dakota - the Blue Angels in Fargo and the Thunderbirds at Minot Air Force Base.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be the featured performers at the Fargo AirSho July 28-29 at Hector International Airport in Fargo.

Gates open at 9 a.m., with the show starting about 11 a.m. Gates will close at 5 p.m. each day. There is a charge for the event. For more information visit: fargoairsho.com/.

On Saturday, Aug. 4, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will be performing at Minot AFB's Northern Neighbors Day open house and air show. The event is free.

Gates will open at 9 a.m., followed by the airshow starting at noon. Inbound traffic will stop at 3:30 p.m. The airshow will conclude about 5 p.m.
