Hot Spots include Artmain, Artspace Suite 1 Gallery, The Blue Rider, Budget Music & Video, Gourmet Chef, Lien’s Jewelry, Main Street Books, Mainstream Boutique, Margie’s Art Glass, Michelle F, Off the Vine, Oliver’s Attic, Taube Museum of Art, The Tap Room, Souris River Brewery, Urban Winery, 3 Little Pigs Food Truck, 62 Doors Gallery and Studios, Seasons Floral, Artist Booths, Farmers Market, Street Musicians and others.
Artspace Suite 1 Gallery is featuring a Retrospective Art Exhibition from artist member and Artspace resident Elizabeth Woods, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Woods is originally from Connecticut but moved to North Dakota in 1983. She has taught arts in schools through Minot Area Council of the Arts, was a featured artist at Arts in Parks and taught private students. Woods, who recently celebrated her 90th birthday, didn’t start her art career until she was 60 and her children were grown. While pursuing her art career, she earned two bachelor’s degrees.
Minot Artspace Residence Gallery will feature live music from Justin Johnson at 6:30 p.m. Johnson is a resident of Artspace.

Minot Artspace “Meet the Artist” will feature Katie Cleaver from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cleaver is a traveling artist and former interactive designer from Philadelphia. She enjoys working with mixed media, found objects and upcycled materials.
Visual artist Carol Fielhaber is the 6 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. feature and will be hosted at Mainstream Boutique.
“I paint faces, figures and feelings,” Fielhaber said. “My work is a mix of response to message and mystery. The heart is my own soul food and I hope in some way it will encourage each individual to take ownership of their own gift and to go deep within themselves, empowering them to grow their own existence in a way that makes them whole and validated. I grew up in North Dakota. I love this part of our wonderful country more than ever before and I am thankful for the opportunities and freedom of our land. I feel privileged to have a desire toward expression and sharing of hope in my heart. My purpose is to honor it by doing the work!”
Creative Night Out will have two music features this month with Alex Barcomb performing at 6 p.m. outside of Budget Music & Video, followed by the sounds of Rick Watson and “It was Her Idea,” hosted at Off the Vine at 8 p.m.
The Minot Story Hour, the 7 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. feature, will be hosted at The Tap Room. Minot Story Hour is a community storytelling group that shares real life stories in 10 minutes or less. Most of these stories are told within a particular theme. This month’s theme will be “On the Water.” The group also offers an open mic atmosphere, giving patrons an opportunity to join in and share their own personal stories.
