Art gallery opens its doors
Minot artists fill gallery with beautiful works of art

Original art by local artists is on display at the Artspace Suite 1 Gallery in downtown Minot, which had its grand opening on Friday afternoon. The gallery is located at 3 Main Street South, Suite 1.
Among the artists whose work is on display at the gallery is Elizabeth Woods, 88, who said she has been painting since 1990.
"I am best known for my folk art," said Woods, but she has also created art using mainly black, white and yellow colors.
Art on display includes wood sculptures by Mike Feist, jewelry, ceramics, photography and interior decor, representing a variety of genres.
Current exhibiting artists include Susana Amundarain, Karen Davidson, Mike Feist, Carol Fielhaber, Colleen J. Lind Folven, Matt Paul Huffman, Wendy Kimble, Tyler Loeffler, Pat Marquard, Janie Myers, Linda Olson, Walter Piehl Jr., Jeanne Rodgers, Nancy F. Walter, Wendy K. Weiss Voeller, and Woods. Contributing members are Amanda Francis, Amadis Amaya and Katie Cleaver.
All art on display at the gallery is for sale.
A ribbon cutting for the gallery is scheduled for Dec. 1 at 3 p.m.
