Shawn Brooking has joined the patient care team at CHI St. Alexius Health Minot Medical Plaza.
Brooking, a certified nurse midwife, provides care to every woman through all stages of life. She has particular interest in providing annual exams, screenings for cervical cancer, preconception counseling, infertility, obstetrics, weight loss, and the management and treatment of all other health needs for women.
Brooking received her bachelor of science in nursing from California State University in San Bernardino, Calif. She received her certificate of nurse midwifery, master of science in nursing, and doctorate of nursing practice from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Ky.
Dr. Brooking is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and holds several other certifications including her Midwifery certification, Limited OB Ultrasound certification, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and Colposcopy trained. Dr. Brooking, CNM, is a member of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
