Happy Fall Y’all

I can’t believe those words just came out of my mouth. We are fast approaching the start of fall and another season comes and goes. It has been a good summer at Trinity Homes. There have been many trips to the zoo, a N.D. State Fair outing, the Senior Safari, and a Senior Fishing Derby at the Garrison Dam scheduled for the middle of September. Every day gets a little bit closer to the end of this pandemic. Even though we know COVID is still alive, and real, our residents continue to push through it every day.

We are still trying to find new things to do at Trinity Homes that residents enjoy, without depending on outside entertainment coming in. What I have noticed in the past year is “if you feed them, they will come.” The residents aren’t satisfied any longer with coffee and cookies like they were in the “good ole days.” They want banana splits, shrimp cocktails, pizza, chips and margaritas, chicken wings, and charcuterie boards. A Ninja Foodie was recently purchased for the residents at Trinity Homes to incorporate more fun foods into their daily activities. Now the residents can have munchies when they are playing cards and games, doing crafts, or just getting together when the snow starts blowing and the season again begins to change.
