minimal remodeling in the current
building. The project includes sur-
veying, testing, temporary fencing,
demolition, concrete, masonry,
structural steel, rough and finish car-
pentry, membrane roofing, joint
sealants, metal wall panels, air bar-
rier, hollow metal doors, coiling
doors, glass & glazing, gypsum as-
semblies, tile, acoustical ceilings,
resilient and resinous flooring, paint-
ing, specialties, food service equip-
ment, window treatments, fire
suppression, mechanical and electri-
cal systems, earthwork, asphalt pav-
ing, concrete paving, landscaping
and utilities.
The construction of the project shall
begin in May 2021 and will be com-
pleted in February 2022.
Construction Engineers is soliciting
competitive “Lump Sum Bids” for All
Contract Categories.
A Pre-bid Meeting will take place
January 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM. At-
tendees will meet at the main en-
trance in Thatcher Hall located at
105 Simrall Blvd, Bottineau, ND.
This meeting is not mandatory, but
attendance is highly recommended.
Covid-19 protocols will be followed,
all attendees must wear masks.

The ND Soybean Council’s election
for your County Representative will
take place by mail ballot in February.
In March, county representatives will
select a board member of the ND
Soybean Council.
On or about January 28, 2021, the
ND Soybean Council will mail each
soybean grower of record in the
county an election ballot. For your
vote to count, ballots must be filed
with the County Extension Agent of
the above-named county. The ballot
can be hand delivered or mailed to
the agent. For your vote to count,
the County Extension Agent must
receive completed ballot by Febru-
ary 16, 2021, or your mailed-in ballot
must be postmarked no later than
February 16, 2021. If you do not re-
ceive a ballot in the mail, contact
your Ward County Extension Agent

one.
A producer is defined as: “any per-
son that plants or causes to be
planted a soybean crop in which the
person has an ownership interest,
with intent that upon maturity, the
crop will be harvested; will have met

season or has met these require-
ments during the immediately
preceding growing season. The term
does not include an organic produc-
er that has been exempted from the
payment of assessments in accor-
dance with federal law.”
