MSU volleyball drops to 0-3 at Chaminade Tournament

The Minot State volleyball team lost two matches at the Chaminade Tournament in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Friday and Saturday. Minot State now stands at 0-3.

The Beavers fell in straight sets to Hawaii at Hilo (20-25, 21-25, 14-25) and host Chaminade (14-25, 21-25, 15-25).

Against Hawaii Hilo, Shelby Spuller posted 12 kills for Minot State. Mackenzie Froehlich recorded 27 assists, while Karli Koza added 10 digs.

Spuller added nine kills against Chaminade, while Froelich added 25 assists. Amarrie Welton added two service aces.

Hawaii Hilo held a 49-38 points advantage, and Chaminade outscored Minot State 41-30.

The Beavers will face Hawaii Pacific University at 12:30 a.m. Central time today.
