Minot High phasing out block "M" logo over trademark disputes

Members of the Minot school board are looking to phase out the block "M" logo for Minot High School over trademark issues. Athletic Director Mitch Lunde confirmed that the board received a letter from the University of Minnesota regarding the matter. The trademarked block "M" logo is the same found on the Minot High football team's helmet. The Minot High logo will remain in place, but the board will begin to phase out the "M" logo and could adopt a new logo, depending on feedback from the community.
