The Minot High and Minot North boys swimming and diving teams jumped into the pool for the first time this season in a competitive event, traveling to Bismarck for the Capital City Invite at the Bismarck State Aquatic Center on Saturday, Dec. 20. The Magicians finished with a team score of 305.5 to place third and Tayson Solper took home the top dive of the event, garnering a score of 353.35 points. The Minot State men’s wrestling team won points in six matches, including three via pins, leading to a 32-18 victory over the University of Jamestown on Thursday, Dec. 18, for the Beavers’ first conference dual victory of the season.
