The Minot State men’s wrestling team won points in six matches, including three via pins, leading to a 32-18 victory over the University of Jamestown on Thursday, Dec. 18, for the Beavers’ first conference dual victory of the season. Cole Faircloth (125 pounds), John Armstrong (165) and Shafer Ehmke (197) all claimed victories in their matches by submission. The Minot State Beavers men’s basketball team was back on the road in Minnesota on Thursday night, Dec. 18 as they took on the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs. The Minot State women’s basketball team surrendered 17 of the game’s first 21 points and couldn’t recover, falling to Minnesota Duluth, 83-69, on Thursday, Dec. 18.
