The Minot United girls hockey team’s comeback came up just short after yielding the game’s first three goals in a 4-2 loss at Williston on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the Agri Sports Complex. Brynn Hanson scored both goals for Minot United (2-5-1-0), her second bringing her team to within 3-2 with nine minutes remaining in the third period. The Minot United boys hockey team took its game outside and came away with the same result as the last eight times they’ve played indoors – a win. Minot United took part in the West Fargo Winter Classic on Tuesday, Dec. 30, held outdoors at The Lights and dominated the host Packers, posting a 6-0 victory to stretch its winning streak to nine games and capping off an undefeated month of December.
