The Minot High Majettes girls swim and dive team closed out their finals home dual meet of the regular season on Tuesday, October 27, with an 111-73 win over the Bismarck Demons.

The Majettes took home first place finishes in eight of the twelve events in Tuesday’s meet. The Majettes were led to their home win by first place finishers such as Madisyn Racine in the Girls 200 Meter Individual Medley, finishing in the top spot with her time of two minutes 29.93 seconds, nearly 30 seconds faster than the second place finisher.

Racine also finished third in the Girls 100 Yard Butterfly with her time of one minute 11.11 seconds and helped the Minot High A team win the Girls 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, along with Leah Dokken, Janie Skarphol and Kacee Makeeff with their team time of four minutes 9.87 seconds.

The Majettes were also dominant off the board on Tuesday night, taking two of the top three spots in the Girls 1 Meter Diving event.

The event was won by Minot’s Gracyn Bergan, whose dive totaled 284.4 points, nearly 100 points ahead the second place diver from Bismarck, who earned 185.4 points on her dive.

Sydney Lyman rounded out the third spot on the podium with her 162.9 point dive for Minot High.
