Weekend Football Update: Magi fall to 0-2, Lions still undefeated

The Minot High Magicians dropped their second contest of the new season to fall to a 0-2 record as the lost to West Fargo Sheyenne in their first away game of the season. The Magicians will return back on the road for their next game as they take on West Fargo on Friday, September 11.
Thompson 47, Turtle Mountain 12
The Braves fell for their third game in a row this season against Thompson High School. The Braves will return home for the next game still in search of their first win as they take on Langdon Area-Munich on Friday, September 11.
Rugby 44, Park River Area 13
The Rugby Panthers are still undefeated with their dominant victory over Park River Area. The Panthers will return for their second home game of the season on Friday, September 11, against Grafton High School.
Bishop Ryan-Our Redeemer’s 23, Bottineau 7
The Lions won their second straight game of the season against Bottineau in one of the later games of this past weekend on Saturday, September 5. The Lions are looking to extend their streak to three as they take on Ray/Powers Lake at Powers Lake High School on Friday, September 11.
Des Lacs-Burlington 42, Tioga 8
The Lakers are back to their winning ways after taking their first loss of the season against Rugby High School earlier in the season. Their victory over Tioga High School this past weekend set them back on a winning record at 2-1. The Lakers will return home for their next game as they take on South Prairie-Max this coming Friday, September 11.
