Royals volleyball sweeps ORCS for third straight win

The South Prairie-Max volleyball team has earned three straight wins for the first time this season on Tuesday night, September 8, as they swept the ORCS Knights 3-0 at home.
The two teams stayed within just a few points of each other through most of the first set, with the Royals making a small breakaway towards the end of the set, finishing it out with a 25-21 victory.
The second set was far more dominant for South Prairie-Max, as the Royals settled quickly into their groove.
The Royals allowed the Knights just eight points over the course of the second set, finishing it 25-8 for their second point of the night.
Though they were down two sets to nothing, the Knights were far from beaten.
In the third set of the night, the Knights fought hard and kept neck and neck with the Royals, eventually tying the set up at 25-25.
Though they fought hard, the Royals eventually overcame the Knights, winning their third set in a row at 27-25.
With their third set won, the Royals completed the sweep against the Knights and earned three match victories in a row for the first time this season.
The Royals improved their record to 4-1-1 on the season and will head back on the road for their next match as the take on the Bottineau Braves on Tuesday, September 15.
