Sentinels soccer takes on Jamestown for conference home debut

The Jamestown Blue Jays and the Minot North Sentinels faced off at Sentinel Stadium for Minot North soccer’s first conference game at home this season on Thursday, August 20.
The Sentinels entered their the game with a season record of 3-0 with a conference record of 2-0.
Both teams fought back and forth through the first half of play with neither team scoring any goals.
It appeared that the first half of the game would end scoreless, but Minot North senior Logan Ovitt launched the ball into the back of the net with just a few seconds left on the clock. His goal was assisted by junior Jayden Marshall.
The Sentinels led the Blue Jays 1-0 at deadline.
