NEW TOWN - Notah Begay III, four-time PGA Tour champion, will be leading a Youth Golf Clinic Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 3-5 p.m. at the Edgewater Golf Course at New Town. Sponsored by the Office of MHA Nation Chairman Mark Fox, the clinic is for ages 7-17.
Begay is known for his championship career and dedication to inspiring Native American youth, according to information from the Office of the Chairman. He also is recipient of the 2026 Payne Stewart Award, Stanford All-American and founder of the NB3 Foundation.
The clinic is geared for young golfers to build confidence, develop their skills and learn the values of integrity, perseverance and sportsmanship.
No registration fee is required to attend. Golf clubs will be available but limited. Those who have golf clubs are encouraged to bring their own. For more information contact Catherine Everett at 701-421-4157.
