High school boys soccer season opens

The Minot High Magicians boys soccer team held their season opener at home on Friday night, August 14, against the Jamestown Blue Jays. Both teams took to the pitch at Duane Carlson Stadium Friday night amidst the rain, and closed out the game with a final score of 1-1.

The Minot North Sentinels were in Bismarck on Friday night for their season opener. The Sentinels took down the Bismarck High Demons 4-3 for a decisive win.

Both teams will return to the pitch on Tuesday, August 18.
