Beavers’ Logan Drennan, Maya Vibeto earn All-Tournament Team honors

Minot State juniors Logan Drennan and Maya Vibeto were honored for their efforts on the court over the weekend as both were named to the Drury Invitational All-Tournament Team.
Drennan, a 5-foot-8 setter, led the Beavers with 8.18 assists per set in four matches, which included a career-high 48 assists in a 5-set, season-opening win over Newman (Kan.) on Friday. She added 13 kills, 3 blocks, a team-high 8 service aces, and 51 digs.
Vibeto, a 5-4 libero, led the way defensively with 4.88 digs per set and a total of 83 digs for the weekend. The Beavers’ libero also had 8 assists, a service ace, and a kill in Minot State’s four matches.
Drennan, Vibeto, and the rest of the Beaver volleyball team (1-3 overall) are back in action this coming weekend playing at the Cameron Invitational in Oklahoma on Friday and Saturday.
Minot State makes its home debut Friday, September 11, hosting Bemidji State at the MSU Dome at 6 p.m.
