Dakota Classic Modified Tour kicks off with trip to Nodak
The Dakota Classic Modified Tour began their 2026 season with a set of races at the Nodak Speedway in Minot on Sunday, July 5.
The Tour is one of the largest and longest running of its kind in the country, following modified and stock car racers across six nights of intense racing every year since 1990.
This year’s season saw Thomas Berry Jr. of Marshalltown, IA take home first place in the first race of the tour in the IMCA Modified event at Nodak.
Tom Berry Jr. was previously the Tour Champion in 2022 and 2019.
The tour continued on Monday, July 6 at the Estevan Motor Speedway in Estevan, Saskatchewan and will visit the Williston Basin Speedway, the Southwest Speedway and the Dacotah Speedway before finishing the Tour at the Jamestown Speedway on Friday, July 10.
