Tots host MoonDogs for Bark in the Park

The Hot Tots hosted their annual Bark in the Park on Wednesday night, June 17, against the Mankato MoonDogs.
The night highlighted the pets of the Minot community with custom one-night only uniforms featuring the photos of local dogs. Corbett Field also hosted a booth for the For Belle’s Sake Rescue, allowing prospective dog owners to meet some of the dogs available for adoption.
The MoonDogs were quick to take charge in the first two innings of play.
Mankato scored two runs in the top of the first inning and three more in the top of the second.
The Hot Tots put their first run on the board in the bottom of the second with an RBI single by Chris Daniels.
The MoonDogs scored two more runs in the top of the fifth inning, bringing their lead to 7-1 while keeping the Hot Tots at bay.
The Hot Tots eanred three more runs in the bottom of the seventh inning from a MoonDogs error and a wild pitch, bringing the score to 7-4 for the MoonDogs at deadline.
The Hot Tots will continue to play the MoonDogs for their second and third games of their four game series on Thursday, June 18.
