A stellar season on the diamond earned recent Minot State graduate Paige Kellogg honors from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) today.

Kellogg, a senior infielder from Las Vegas, Nevada, who split time between first and second base for the Minot State softball team this season, was named the D2CCA 1st Team All-Central Region Team in the utility player role.

The first Beaver player to earn All-Central Region honors since the 2014 season, Kellogg played in 45 games for Minot State, starting 22 at first base and 22 at second base this season as Minot State went 34-22, the team’s most wins since the 2012 season.

Kellogg led the way offensively with a team-high .396 batting average (53-of-134) with 5 home runs, 6 doubles, 1 triple, 32 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases.

A 1st Team All-NSIC selection as a utility player, Kellogg was also named to the NSIC All-Defensive Team at second base as she recorded 249 putouts with 42 assists for a 98.0 fielding percentage in 45 total games.

As a 1st-Team All-Central Region selection, Kellogg now becomes eligible for All-American honors. The D2CCA All-American teams will be announced later this month.

Starting at $2.99/week.
