The Aggies softball team fell to the Kindred Vikings in their semifinals game of the 2026 NDHSAA Class B Softball State Tournament on Friday, may 29.

The pitching duel lasted straight through the tenth inning before the Vikings were able to finish the game with a two-run RBI in the top of the tenth inning.

Kindred’s senior pitcher Charlie Odegaard earned 14 strike outs for the Vikings while the Aggies’ Grace Balas netted 18 strike outs through her ten innings in the circle.

The Aggies’ loss on Friday sends them to the tournament’s third place game on Saturday, May 30.

The Lakers walked away with the victory on Friday night with their dominant win over the Glenburn Panthers.

The Lakers got their start early with seven runs in the first two innings of play and scoring an additional six runs in the fourth inning.

The Lakers held the Panthers to just two runs through their five defensive innings, giving them the win and the chance to play for fifth place against the Thompson High School Tommies on Saturday to close out their State Tournament run.
