Beavers look to extend win streak, fight for winning record

Fresh off their 4-0 sweep of Bemidji State in Minnesota over the past weekend that put the team on a 22-22 season record, the Beavers are heading back on the road to take on the University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles in a double header on Wednesday, Apr. 29.
The Beavers were electric behind the plate during their four game series against Bemidji State, totaling 42 hits and scoring 30 runs over the course of their four games. The Beavers have had some trouble getting the ball moving through the season, but their last four games have shown the team put in a a lot of work offensively ahead of the double header against the University of Minnesota Crookston.
The Beavers were just as strong over the weekend off the pitchers mound.
The Beavers earned 34 strike outs over the course of their series while allowing just 31 hits and just eight runs.
The Beavers have had a hard time the last few seasons in their games against the Golden Eagles.
Since 2021, the Beavers have won just four games out of the 12 times they played. The two teams lats faced off was in April of 2025, where they split a double header with Minot State taking the first game 2-0 and the Golden Eagles taking the second game 2-13 in seven innings.
Though they have a losing record against the Golden Eagles, the Beavers are looking to continue their success in the batter’s box and on the field to extend their win streak and return to a winning record on the season.
The first game of the double header kicks off in Crookston, MN at 1:30 p.m. on Wendesday, Apr. 29.
