Beavers 12th in NSIC Preview

The Minot State women’s golf team traveled to Blue Springs, MO to compete in the NSIC Women’s Conference Preview at the Adams Pointe Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday, Mar. 30-31. The Beavers finished their second round of competition on Tuesday afternoon in 12th place with an overall score of 157-over 733 (367-366).
Minot State senior Zoe Banack led the Beavers in competition golf on both days of the team’s return to competition golf after three weeks. Banack led the Beavers on day one with a total score of nine over par, earning her a tie for 30th place. Banack dropped two more strokes on her second round of golf on Tuesday, finishing the day with a score of 11 over par, bringing her overall score to 20 over par, dropping her to a tie for 42nd individually.
Minot State’s Carlie Brown, Macie Sebelius and Micaela Resler rounded out the team for this week’s competition, earning the 70th, 71st and 72nd spots individually.
Missouri Western took home first place as a team with a combined score of 26 over par. Augustana University’s Lanie Veenendall took home first place individually in the event with her par score.
The Beavers will get another two weeks of practice before heading back on the road for the 2026 Texas Roadhouse Spring Invitational at the Golf Club at Red Rock in Rapid City, SD beginning on Monday, Apr. 13.
After their bout in Rapid City, the Beavers will return to Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, MO for their last competition of the spring season. The Beavers will begin NSIC Tournament First Round on Wednesday, Apr. 22.
