The Beavers men’s golf team closed out their last major test before the NSIC Tournament with the second round of the NSIC Men’s Conference Preview on Tuesday, Mar. 24.

Hendrickson started Tuesday morning on the 13th hole of the Paradise Pointe Golf Club in Smithville, MO for his last round. He had a cleaner start in his front nine compared to the day before, earning one birdie and just two bogies before making his way to his back nine.

Hendrickson kept a consistent game through the second half of his round, earning one additional birdie and three bogies, ending his day with a score of three over par. Adding to his first round score of two over par, Hendrickson finished the tournament with 149 strokes over the course of his two days of play.

Hendrickson led the Beavers individually, tying for 23rd with three other players.

Karnik had a tough first round on Monday, ending the day 12 over par, but he found his rhythm heading into the second day of competition. Karnik started his second day with a birdie on his hole and earned three more before the end of his round. With just five bogies on the day, Karnik ended his second round with a score of one over par.
