The Minot State women’s soccer program will begin the search for a new head coach after the Beavers announced that coach Chris Logan is stepping down for personal reasons.
Minot State’s Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations, Janna McKechnie, announced that Coach Logan submitted his resignation on Friday.
The search for a new head coach for the Minot State women’s soccer team began today, and current Beavers assistant coach, Charlie Gomez, will serve as the interim head coach for the program until a new coach is named.
“We thank Chris Logan for his time and contributions to the Minot State women’s soccer program,” McKechnie said. “We appreciate his dedication to our student-athletes and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
A 9-year veteran at the NCAA Division I level as a head coach, Coach Logan was introduced as the Beaver soccer program’s 4th head coach back in February. In his lone season guiding Minot State, the Beavers went 9-5-5 during the fall of 2025, finished 4th in the NSIC standings and hosted a 1st-round NSIC playoff game, and scored 36 goals, which is tied for 5th most in a single season in school history.
