The Minot State women’s basketball team got a 13-point showing from the bench, but fell 76-37 to the Montana State Bobcats on the road Monday, Nov. 10.

Maya Aguilar led the Beavers with 12 points and nine rebounds. Jaime Skeggs also tacked on seven points and two steals from the bench and Tiyahna Trottier chipped in as well with three points.

The Minot State offense made hay from deep, pouring in nine threes on 29 attempts. Aguilar hit four treys for the Beavers in the contest.

The Minot State defense caused its share of mistakes in Monday’s game, forcing 16 Montana State turnovers. Those takeaways turned into five points on the offensive end of the floor. Skeggs’ two steals led the way individually for the Beavers.
